  • Magnificent weather today in #Richmond !

So of course I had to go and do some filming, this time with the @zcamvr E2 and 120fps 4K

  • This is intriguing. Ignore the cheeky body cap as that’s somewhat misleading!

We’ve seen a few very high quality Chinese cinema cameras but this is the first attempt at a Spanish one that I have come across!

This is “Fran 8K” from #Cinemartin
The sensor is slightly larger than full frame. They call it “Vista vision” on the body. It’s obviously 8K and it’s also Global shutter.
This is a very early camera, pre-alpha really. I will do what I can with it. It’s bloody heavy that’s for sure!

I am keeping my expectations low, that way I could be pleasantly surprised.

I must say after reading some posts by the owner of the company in response to genuine complaints about their products I am in two minds whether I should do anything with this camera. My time is too valuable to be honest and I really only like to do videos about products I really like. We shall see.
  • My wonderful mum @frogfran recovering after a massive spinal operation that she had on Monday. It’s all gone very well thankfully and she will be going home tomorrow! Yay! 🙂❤️
  • My wonderful Harriet the Greek in her old home last July. Check out my cat account to see how is she is getting on living with me in England 🙂❤️ @thebloomcats

  • Just announced the @atomos_news #shinobi 5” 1080p monitor using the same panel as the Ninja V.

It’s 1000 nits, HDMI input only and costs just $399/€. It’s also incredibly light, I’ll share additional thoughts once I’ve used it more! 🙂
