  1. The PDW-700 could certainly be the next Digi-Beta. It has the all the characteristic qualities of a boardcast camera, but if you are an independent filmmaker looking for poetic 24p acquisition you have to keep looking.
    In my opinion the EXs fits that niche within an amazing affordable price but also some very crippling limitations like rolling shutter and a longGOP Codec.
    If RED can deliver half of what it has been promising by the end of 2009 the market will change for ever.
