For the best timelapse photography you HAVE to have 2 cameras. One you set up for the timelapse and the other you take normal pictures with it. That way you are not tempted to fix the timelapse camera when you get a little bored.
Good stuff Philip. Also here is a link I think has value expanding on Time Lapse instruction.
