Thanks for the review, I love your work.

As a side note … I bought a Cinemek G35 after your review of it and love it, so I find your website VERY useful and fun to read.

Anyway… I shoot video in for the military – they bought us a bunch of GY-HM700s to use. I know you did this review a year and a half ago, but is their anyway you remember the picture settings you used that day?

I know it’s a long shot, but I had to ask. Thanks!

Thank Bob. The 7d is a great camera but not a “true” video camera. The EX-3 is an amazing all rounder…depends what you need. Take into account sound etc….

I travel with a really first rate cinematographer who uses a 700 CD cam or Red One. If I want to shoot pick up establishing shots, which camera will give me better looking video to match with these great cameras: The new Cannon 7D or the EX-3?
Watch all your videos. You have an incredible eye….just amazing looking video.

Hi there, great video, I’ve seen both your videos on the JVC 700, and the Hpx301 (300) my question is do you think they will fix the skewing on the Hpx 301 (300) and if you was buying a camera in the $10k range, which of these camera’s would you buy? The 700 or the 301 (300) Thanks Aj

Well, if anyone knows of something, would love to know about it. When sending EX footage to Avid editors in QT format (native), I get the usual Avid editor response – please may we have it on DVCAM tape. I’d hope the MP4 gets wrapped into the native Avid format.

there must be a plug in to let Avid edit .mov? Or at least to rewrap it in something…
