Thanks for the review, I have been looking into the Letus for sometime but have been put off with the complexity of the set up and operation. This seems to be the ideal solution to my concerns. Hope you are well from your trip and have now got over the jetlag.
thanks for all your reviews philip. you helped influence my purchase of an EX3 some months back and I have been very happy with the results. we are now about to purchase a letus ultimate and it has been once again a real education visiting your blog. can you tell me when this relay will be available? It doesn’t seem to be on the letus direct site.
cheers,
Cheers Phillip,
The review and clip of the Letus Relay for the EX3 is extremely useful. We’re planning the shooting of a ‘mockudrama’ this summer on our EX3 and PDW F350s and this setup allows us to get an excellent filmic feel for our dramatised sequences without wielding something the length of a baseball bat whilst in extremely confined circumstances.
Hi there! I want to know if this relay lense works will work with my EX1 (since it has a 1/2″ sensor too, like the EX3).
Thanks!
By the way, your website rocks! It has been a lot of help. We are about to make a shortfilm with a Sony EX1 and we are taken in great consideration your videos to get decided to buy a Letus 35mm adapter (we still don’t know if the Elite or the Ultimate) and of course, this relay lense is actually a plus that me may consider.

September 8, 2009 at 22:51cheers Rocko. For a relay to work it needs a camera with a removable lens like the EX3.
