		<description>Hi Philip

I&#039;m a self shooting director and own a Z7.

I want to either buy a 5D or sell the Z7 and then buy an EX3. I shoot a mixture of short dramas documentary and corporate films.

What advice would you give in terms of the EX3 or having the Z7 and the 5D?

Thanks

		<description>Hey philip,
Another question regarding the 7d
I shot some footage the other day but was in a hurry and forgot to set the cam to my custom picture profile, so the footage came out really saturated really contrasty,
and really sharp.
Ive done a bit of CC in FCP- lowered that sat etc and played with the blacks and whites to fix the contrast.
According to the histogram the blacks and whites were fairly accurate already so firstly is there a good filter you would reccomend to do an overall contraast reduction?
Secondly, the picture does look a little too sharp so likewise what proces/filter might you recommend to fix that

Thanks again

		<description>Hi There,
Ive done a fair bit of googling about this and found nothing.
I do alot of shows/events with the ex3 and often dont have the luxury of using SDI or component.
The option of course is to use composite monitor out, but in my opinion this is total crap.
It seems that the monitor out is simply that- a way of monitoring your output.
My point being It doesnt appear to be a full res SD output and often exhibits wiered artifacts and shimmers.
Would you agree with this?

Thanks

		<description>Hi Philip
Great RESPECT for you and your works with Sony and other camcorders.
I’m a DP myself and really need to buy my own HD.
I suppose there were many discussions about “EX-3 vs. RED Scarlet” but I would really appreciate your opinion
Cheers a lot
