Nice. So you are going with the 50mm 1.4 ZE because its faster than the CP2?

As you know, the glasses are the same , just the housing is different. I already had this great ZE Lens before i decided to buy the CP2's .

Yeah they are similar but not identical.

The CP2 50mm is T2.1 (about f1.8) and has no virtually breathing.

The ZE and ZF.2 is f1.4 but does exhibit focus breathing.

I do love shooting on my ZF.2s. Would love to own a range I'd CP2s but I'm better off renting at the moment.

Of course you are right. I thought a long time about it to buy or not to buy the lenses. I had a budget over 15K€ . First i wanted to buy a Sony F5 but with 15K€ i just would have the body and no one lens. So i think it is better to buy some good lenses instead of a camera which is old in that time when you buy it. I also bozght a Canon C100 and i'm very happy with this little nice piece. For bigger projects i go to the rental house and use my primes with a rented camera.
I'm very happy too that the BMCC accept EF Mount Lenses too. I'm looking forward to the NAB13 and i hope they will bring out the ultimate BMCC
