Hey guys/gals, I'm just getting to the point where I'm getting offers for paid work as a cinematographer and it's very exciting. The problem is that I do not know what to charge for and how much. I mean I do it all myself: initial consultation setup filming sound lighting edit color correction grading web upload etc. So... I'm wondering if anyone has an example of an invoice that they use and if there is an industry standard as far as rates go. I mean... We have the everyday person who doesn't take much pride in their, yet doesn't mind charging someone, then we have people like StillMotion who have phenomenal work, but you definitely pay for it. Any ideas?
