I’m a film major and I directed a music video for one of my final assignments last year. Check out the teaser and let me know what you think. Filming was a blast! The edit has been locked for some time, but the release has been delayed because the band is trying to find distribution. This was shot primarily with the 60D except for the slow motion shots, which were captured with an HVX. There were three primary locations, Eastern State Penitentiary, my school’s studio, and a backyard. Below is a still from one of the wings of the penitentiary we didn't have access to: Shooting at the penitentiary was absolutely amazing, but rather stressful. I was really sick that day and we only had two hours to get everything we needed. I can assure you that breathing in 100 year-old prison dust doesn’t do any favors for an upper respiratory infection. We went handheld for mostly everything except for one pocket dolly shot. So much of my day was spent trying not to cough when I was operating haha!
