How would you connect the BMCC to a monitor for playback from the camera? Is there a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable, or do you have to use something else?
The thunderbolt is for connecting to a computer only. You can use it to monitor on the computer, or for scopes, or for capture, but you cannot convert it to HDMI or anything else. Of you want to monitor you have to use SDI. You could use an SDI-HDMI converter, but that introduces a little lag, and adds more junk to your rig.
Not sure if anyone can answer this, but is there anyway efficient way of powering the camera via NP-1's? Particularly IDX NP-1 L7S batteries?
Justin the only one I know of is made by Hawks Wood in the UK: http://www.hawkwoods.com/products/d...nuItemToSlide=17&asi=NP-35&asi2=sl-1&asi3=mr2
