I have a project here where I have made a sequence into several sub clips (with working audio and video on each of the clips). When I then use auto sync to make specific clips of these I suddenly have no audio from them - if I play them in the viewer.

Can anyone confirm that auto sync clips work with audio when played from a viewer window?

Yes it should play in the viewer window! Avid will create new clips after syncing. So maybe you've opened the wrong clip in the source monitor.

Thanks. But no. I did check that. Almost feels like a bug or wrong install. Maybe my swedish system does not go well with the avid install... Weird.

Are you selecting both the audio and video in the bin when you hit autosync?

If you drag a clip into the timeline, does the audio show up or is it just the video file?

Sounds like the audio just isn't being attached to the video.
