April 26, 2009 at 02:52OK so I’m totally amazed on how you get people to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I showed my wife your flight attendant rapper video and expressed my amazement to her wondering how does he (that would be you) get people to do this stuff for him on camera. Then she quickly responded “Well, honey… it’s his accent and he’s not bad looking. Kinda grungy but, not bad looking.” Then she proceeded to quote you with her bad British accent “Lovely Gem.” Case closed. Signing up for an online British accent course.
Love the video. Cooky guy but, great artistic elements.

I have been shooting with my Sony EX3/Letus Ultimate/Nikon rig recently, and the only lens that is killing me is that 17-35mm f2.8 Nikon zoom. No matter how hard I try to properly back focus it , I cannot seem to get extreme long focus with that damn thing. For $1600.00, it should make breakfast for me.
I even had the lens serviced and set to Nikon computer specs and even that did not seem to do the trick.
It makes me wish that I had bought the 20mm f/2.8, 24mm f/2.8 28mm f/2.8, and 35mm f/1.4 manual lenses separately.

December 10, 2009 at 07:28So you shot this at 25P and then slowed it down at half speed and used twixtor to create the in-between frames making it look nice and smooth yet giving it a look like you had the shutter a bit too slow?
