Great camerawork, nicely filmed and I also like the use of the Goereski Symphony. JUst a couple of points that didn’t ring true, the uniforms were far to clean and also the soldiers hair is too long – head lice was a common problem in the 1st World War and that’s why the army brought in the short back and sides.
agreed! But we couldn’t afford to get the uniforms cleaned so we couldn’t dirty them!!
I thought that may be the case, anyway it doesn’t matter, the filmwork and editing is spot on as is your choice of music.
I have recently purchased the EX3, based on your coments and work etc. I am very pleased with it, but for the timne being I still need to produce standard SD DVDs, do you have any tips for converting HD footage to SD?
I wish you a Happy and prosperous New Year.
hi philip
I would like to know like you achieved the color of the film, that technique of color correction used
hi David
I used Magic Bullet looks using a number of presets.
I wonder how it would Look if it had a Look of film from that era? Like it was in the trench war.
genious
[...] of the paid work I am allowed to show, like NT Live, 3 Seconds, The Echo, Valentine’s Day, The Trench, Siberian Portrait as well as, of course the stuff I shot and directed like Life of Crime, Eddie [...]
The Trench.
Amazing work. I have spent hours and hours searching the web for video shot with 35mm adaptors. You’re is simply the best. I just book marked your web page.
I just ordered a Letus mini for my HV40. I can’t wait to try it out. I have one of the original Letus XL’s that I use from time to time with my XL H1.
Again. Fantastic work.

Good work. If you would shoot it today, what would you choose ? Ex1 and Letus or 5D / 7D ?
Hi, I just registered. I probably missed all this, but what camera did you film this on?
ex1 and letus extreme ages ago!!
