I like that you also spell your name with 1 “L” Most people think mine should have 2! Anyway, I’m very interested in what you’re shooting. I’m taking a new job in the next couple of weeks. I’ve always shot film and video with traditional video cameras, most recently the Panasonic HVX200.

I have a nice budget with which to buy some equipment for my new job, and I was planning to buy an HVX with a Brevis 35mm adapter. However, the more I read about shooting with a D5, or a D7, the more I am intrigued.

What did you shoot this with? How easily do you think a video guy (with some still camera exp.) can move over to shooting video with a DSLR?
