We made these down in Key West last month. They explain how to use the Oracle controller with the Cineslider and Pocket Dolly systems.

The set up I used was the Cineslider with outrigger feet, a manfrotto 503 head on the slider, the 500 Eletrkra drive motor and the Oracle controller.

What a fantastic piece of kit. There are so many possibilties with motion control cameras. I remember cutting a commercial for a soft drink that needed a long line of people extending into dry desert. The same shot was repeated about 15 times, each time moving the line of people between markers. The final composition cost a fortune. The production company spent tens of thousands hiring a crew and the biggest motion controlled robot monster. Now i see it’s possible to get the same results from this beauty.
    It blows my mind.
